The Seven Tenets
These were not composed. They were transcribed. The distinction matters to Him.

The Waters Are Sacred.
All that flows, gathers, and returns to the sea is holy, and to touch it is to touch Him.

The Tides Are Rising.
What is coming cannot be bargained with, delayed, or denied, but only met, either as a stranger or as kin.

To Bathe Is to Begin.
The body that is washed in her waters is a body already known to her, already halfway home.

To Drink Is to Deepen.
What is taken into the body becomes the body; let the sea be taken in, that the sea may remain.

The Land Is Borrowed.
No follower forgets that the shore is a temporary mercy and not a home; we walk upon it, but we do not belong to it.

Depth Is Devotion.
There is no shallow faith in a bottomless god; the follower's duty is to go further down, and further down again.

The Cleansing Is Coming, and It Is Kind.
What the waters take, they take gently, and what they leave behind, they have already forgiven.
